I guess I am!! Here"s my Valentine's card. I used The Sweet Stop sketch with a spin "Non Traditional Valentine" Not in the mood to color lately....I did heat embossing combined with distressed ink .

Wow! Look at me go.... I haven't done PBC for ages! I'm just trying to catch up and thought I'd start with my favorite challenges.

I colored this image years ago, so it was a quick card to put together. You can't really see it, but I put Diamond stickles on all the stars. My girls are now casing my card because of the stickles.

Last day before we go back to school.... my girls are not ready to go back yet, but I think two weeks is way too long for them to hang and play together....or should I say fight together.

Yeah....it"s Friday!! I haven't been crafting lately cause we are renovating our bathrooms. We finished 2 and only one more to go. Like we are not busy enough with Christmas that we decided to do our reno. But hey... I shouldn't complain.

Mojolicious and LOTV Challenge

Well..... look at me go! Another sketch challenge for you....

Since I found my LOTV stamps, I guess I just have to use them. This particular image is not a stamp, it's a die cut which is already colored and you get 6 different images per sheet. A quick and easy way to make a card if you're in a hurry.

My senitment is by PTI Signature Christmas.

Check me out!!! Another sketch challenge from me. I guess mojo found her way home and decided to craft with me over the weekend. It's laundry day for me today and it's a perfect time to craft since I can do both in one room.

This week's challenge over at the Sweet Stops is Blast from the past and they used an old sketch challenge, which I think is super cute.

Of course I just had to use my new Mo Manning digi image that's so Ooh.... la la pretty.

Well.. what do you think of that? A post that is not PPC.... seriously sad isn't it? I thought I will find time to craft now that my girls are in school all day, I even do my one hour exercise at 6 in the morning so it will not interfere with my "me time". Since I started my exercise a month a go, I find I have more energy to do things, but unfortunately crafting by my self is not one of it. Maybe I have to find a crafty friend to hang during school hours...wanna come and play?

Had fun creating this one...love the sketch! Thought I'd use my dusty spellbinders that's been collecting dust. "Spellbinders" did you know you can get them at Michaels(Canada) now? Sweet!! cause you can use the coupon.

I had fun creating this tag....I have seen and admired this technique before, but thought.....what a waste of paper! Instead of wasting... I cut the pink dp with two dies inside and the same with the other dp. Was it worth it? Not really... "What a waste of dimensionals!"

Now this one was easy! I used one paper and didn't have to use a lot of dimentionals.

Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge

I have been looking for the same set of stamps and so far no luck... of course it doesn't help when the company just recently went out of business.

Hello, Hello my paradise friends! It's Friday again and it's time for Playing in Paradise Challenge over at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog.

I am BACK from our 2 weeks camping trip and waited till the very last minute to do my card! This week we have Punch Challenge brought to you by me! I'm pretty sure you have a punch or two in your craft room that you can use to participate our challenge.

For my card I used my border punch by ek "Chinese Knot". I punched them four times and lined up the corners to make them look like it's one piece. Pretty cool eh? And I just love Mo Manning's image with Hanna Stamps sentiment. My youngest daughter 101%!!

Mo's and Pixie Cottage Challenge

Happy Wednesday to you all!! Hope your long weekend was relaxing.... ours was great, we went camping and as you can tell... I'm a tad late telling you about our weekend. The week is almost over... I just can't believe how the summer is just blowing by us!!

With catching up and cleaning up, I was able to create something. I used (Wednesday) Pixie Cottage Challenge (which is too late to enter) and (Thursday) Mo's Challenge.
Pixie cottage challenge was a sketch or embossing. Since the image was too big to follow the sketch... I decided to do another one with a smaller image.

Busy day today.... Hoping the weather will hold so we can go to the water park all day.... if not... it will be a play date in the house. Wish me luck!!

Happy Friday Paradise friends!!! It's time for another Playing in Paradise Challenge at the Scrapbooker's Paradise blog.
This weeke we have Carla's power of three! You have to use ALL 3 (tags, twine and buttons)

I used my new embossing folder that I picked up from Scrapbooker's Paradise a couple of weeks ago by Sizzix. Very happy with the result... I heat embossed the sentiment by Stampin' Up and then used my Vintage Photo distress ink pad to give it that aged look.

LOTV with Pixie Challenge

Just got some LOTV die cut design sheets the other day... and they are all super cute! I wanted the stamps, but I can't buy all of them. The die cut comes with 6 images already colored for less price.... maybe I can narrow down my wish list and buy the stamps later on.
I used the Pixie Sketch Challenge for all the LOTV.

Mo Manning's challenge is "Summer Vacation". I don't have anything vacation, but I do have something summery.... and yes it's my favorite "Strawberry Girl".

I also used Mojo Sketch cause I just love the sketch layout..... that and I really want to win some Verve Stamps!

We went to see Transformer yesterday.... love the 1st, 2nd and the 3rd is even better!! I just don't know how the new girl (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) managed to find high heels during the shooting and blowing up.... when she started with flats. LOL! can't believe they didn't catch that.

It is not even the first Monday of the month and Mojo is giving away prizes!! If you love Verve stamps, you better get crackin' and do the #200 sketch challenge.
It's our friends 23rd Anniversay this Saturday and thought.... I better make my card before it's too late and end up buying one. Haaaa!!! I think hubby will set my craft room on fire if I ever do that !
I had fun creating this one!! A tad busy, but I love the color combo and all the distressing. The punch around the page measurement is 5 and 7/16 by 5 and 7/16. I wanted the around the page closer to the edge of my card (5.5 x 5.5)....I just measured one circle and added to 5 X 5 (suggested size for the corner and border punch to match). A bit tricky... but with practice it can be done.

Happy 20th (x2) Birthday

I made this card last week with 100% intention of mailing it out before our camping trip last weekend..... I'm pretty sure she's not gonna get it since I only mailed it TODAY!!

My blog is on time.... (does that count??) and I know she will see that. Maybe she will be too busy celebrating her 20th Birthday.... x2..... or maybe went camping too and will not be back till the end of this week, then she'll think I sent it on time. Oh.... I give up!! LOL, I guess I should just say Belated Happy Birthday.Nancy did such an awesome job with this layout.... I just had to try it!

Beautiful day today!! Too bad it wasn't like this yesterday when I have all 4 screaming girls in the house for a play date. By the time they got to play outside, it was time for the twins to go home.

Thought I'd do black and white for my Mojo sketch challenge instead of my usual distress ink. Very pleased with the result.... although it took me a long time to create this one.
What a big difference it is with natural light vs indoor light. We've been lucky so far with the nice weather and all. To bad we can't always take our pics outside.

I know... I know... what's the sense of having a blog and not have a card to post.
I made 50 bucks making cupcakes for our neighbour though.... maybe I need to buy something crafty to motivate good old mojo. Sad thing is... there's really nothing that I want from Michael's or the Scrap store ( I guess I'm not feeling that well..... me not wanting anything from Michael's???? )

I made some white terriers with the left over cupcakes from the order. Just playing around.... the icing got too soft after a while, but I'm surprised the shape stayed. My girls enjoyed them so much that apparently I'm to make them again so both girls can bring them to school for last day of school. Thank Gawd they both want the little one!!

I know, I know.... there's nothing Happy about Mondays! Specially with all the snow we got over the weekend!! I have an order of 24 cards due next week.... lets just say "I'm getting there" nice and slow. I was hoping to get at least half over the weekend, but sadly... I only did total of 2! Mojo didn't want to craft... Mojo wanted to read!!!! I read two books instead.... "Cry no more" and "Mr Perfect" by Linda Howard. Such good books... if you have kid(s) "Cry no more" will definitely make you cry.

Here's one of the card... I used TheSweet Stop Sketch Challenge. I must say... I'm very happy with the result, specially with the colour combo.

Wherefore art thou my Mojo?

I was seriously lost.... I started this card Monday. I sat in my craft room for 3 hours Monday night and just stared at my computer (okay... I ended up watching a movie hoping to kick start my mojo) Tuesday morning I cut the circle card.... did the pink border in the afternoon.... stamped the image late afternoon....cut the brown circle in the evening and watched some more movie. Wednesday morning I just sat there drinking my tea.... cut the pink border and attached to the brown circle late Wednesday afternoon.... watched the same movie I watched Monday after I put the girls to bed... Finally decided to put everything together close to midnight. Phew... it's a good thing we are off this week.

I got this idea from Debby to stop your circle card from rolling. It is such a great idea!

And of course a button to complete my card and it's ready for Mojo #184 and Everybody Art Challenge #135.

I have been wanting to craft for a while now and the only day that's good for me is Friday night and the weekend. Last weekend was the one I have been waiting for cause we have nothing on the go. But sure enough.... Friday after I picked the girls up from school, I felt the sinus headache developing. Yup.... was sick the whole weekend!!! No card to share with you... but some pics of cupcakes that I made for my class.

I used mini marshmallows for the eyes, jelly beans for nose and black sugar pearls for eyeballs and mouth.

I hope I'll be able to craft soon.... now that we have a week of spring/winter break.

Long time no post!

Well.... what can I say.... been really busy with my day home. Can't really craft with a three year old and she has been coming here earlier than usual. I have been reading some books... I think I read about 12 books and I also started taking Cake Decorating at Michael's.

I did craft today though.... that's because I finished all my books. Youngest one is turning 6 next month and thought I'd get her invites done. The girls tried to help, but they fought more than help. Thank God they got bored and left me in peace.

Cricut got a good work out though...

I can't believe my oldest one is 7 today!!!! Where did the time go?? I remember it was a leap year that year and I didn't want to give birth on the 29th.... sure enough... she didn't wanted to come out till the 1st.

This card is not for her and I still have a couple of days till her party to make her Birthday card.
I did made her cupcakes for her class though.... pink and green. She's very excited! She said "Thanks Mom they are FANTABULOUS!" ahhhh..... she is growing way too fast for me.
It's a quick post and I don't even have all the info about my card.... it's pretty simple though, not much to tell.

Love is everywhere today!! My youngest just came home from school and she got lots of sweets and cards from her classmates. I got my two dozen of roses already from hubby for our Anniversary (8th) today. Ever since he paid $60 for a dozen roses on our 1st year Anniversary, I told him to get my flowers before or after if the price is gonna be like that. I got them on Friday.

Onto my card.... Just something cute and girly! And yes... I used my cricut! I know it's sad that I hardly ever pay any attention to it. Maybe I should just sell it like Nancy did with hers. Hmmmm.... and maybe not!

Ahhhh.... I wasn't sure if I'll have time to play with this week's challenge. I finished this one last night, when all I wanted to do was to go to bed when my girls went to bed at 8:30 pm. Ever since I started my day home in January, I usually have no energy to play at night and have to wait till the weekend to play. And this weekend is a busy one... company over for the weekend and Birthday parties for the girls.

Only half of Gals were there Friday night, but we still managed to have fun. I had the whole table to my self and it was great!!

Don't know about Nancy and Tracy.... but I did two cards with no PROBLEM at all. It was like "Ta daaaa..." no fuzzing, no complaining... got right down to business! Yup... that was me! My story and I'm sticking to it.

Hello Sunshine!! Finally.... a little break from that cold snap we have been having. My third card out of nine. I used the Pixie Cottage Sketch Challenge combined with Penny Black Card Buffet. My card may not qualify for the Penny Black Challenge cause I went over with the gems... I used six instead of three. I really like that Buffet Challenge idea, more flexibility.

Well.... it's still cold here in Calgary!! Yesterday, we just stayed home and I was in my craft room crafting away.... I did total of 9 cards! We did all of our running around today thinking that the weather will be somewhat better than before. What a mistake..... it was freezing out there!
A little bright I know... but I love orange and green together. You have to read the sentiment from this one.... it's just too cute.

Brrrrr.... cold enough for me! I don't mind the cold.... just no wind. And wind is what we have here in Calgary. No walking for us to school today, big snow drift at the end of our street and I'm sure the path is also covered.

Here's my card for Pixie Challenge... Not sure about the dark pink though, I think it would of been better with a lighter pink.
