Last Book!

I'm almost done with "Breaking Dawn" I was trying to save the last book for the Christmas break, but I guess I will have time to craft instead.
Mojo #117 was completed a couple days ago, but never did have time to post till now ( bet you can't guess why). Just got my new Verve Stamps and I knew I just had to use it. Love it!

I love this card! Thanks to Tracy for bringing the template to share with us last Cal~Gals.

I'm on the 3rd book already "Eclipse" I didn't read "New Moon" in a day, but I managed to do it in 2 days. I had to put the book down to do my Christmas shopping and we also had to go to the "Teddy Bear Toss" at the Hitman's hockey game.

Wooo Hoooo! I'm all done with my Christmas shopping... I did most of my shopping at Tommy Hilfigers (Cross Iron Mall) majority of thier stuff are on sale from 30-60 % off. It was so much easier shopping there than going to Winners.

Cal~Gals

It was half the Cal~Gals last night, but we still managed to have fun, giggles, joke around and EAT. Oh yeah... the purpose of getting together! Not a bad night... we did a lot of creating, but I think Nancy did the most.
It was Tracy's turn to do the sketch and we all did really good. That is... if you're not timing us! As usual I was the last one to finish.

I love the image that I used for this one. Unfortunately it's not mine (Nancy's), but will probably have one soon, since they have it at my second home (Michael's) hehehe.

I got the rest of the Twilight books last night from Shannon and I started reading New Moon last night.... I already read 3/4 of it! Hubby is already complaining that I don't have to read the whole book in one night. Lol, I don't think I could read that fast.

Woo Hoo! I did 68 baskets over the weekend and hubby just came to pick up 34 of them. Of course he called and asked me to bring 34 upstairs, so it's easier for him to load. Wheew... I was sweating after the 10th! I tried to carry 2 at a time, but my short arms couldn't do it.

My assembly line is set up in the basement, where the play area is for the girls. They are not allowed to play there... but they will disappear from time to time with an excuse of needing a specific toy from downstairs. They think they are so smart! the other day I caught them with not ONE, but Six chocolate bars! And that's not six to share, but six for each.

For the gift tag, I used clear ball from Michael's and embossed the sentiment on vellum (light enough to be able to roll and insert in the ball) I also used stickers and glitter glue to decorate the ball.

I already started my Mojo sketch and hoping I will be able to finish it today.

I'm suppose to be doing my Christmas baskets.... but I thought, I'd take a break and do the Mojo sketch instead. I don't know what kind a break I think I deserve, when I haven't even started yet.

I don't know about this one... I was trying to go for non traditional Christmas colours, but it didn't turned out the way I was hoping for.

Do I really need it?

You BET!! I just picked this up at Michael's today for $10!!! I used my 50% coupon (last week's receipt) and then the 20% coupon for all Martha Stewart products (this week's flyer) It's already a deal when you buy the combo pack, but the $10 is even better.

Is it ever ugly out there! Hubby dropped me off at LJB's school for PTI this morning for 9:15. It just started snowing and when I came out of the school (15 minutes later) everything was covered. I already did my shovel #1 for the day and I think I will probably do #2 shoveling after my afternoon run with the school bus.

No crafting for a while

Happy Tuesday to you all! I have 5 cards for you, but they're all ABS technique. You're probably sick of them by now, so I thought I'd post them all together instead of one at a time.

I have to do my 84 Christmas Gift Baskets this year again, which is due on the second week of December. So no crafting for me for a week and a bit.

You've probably seen the new Martha Stewart punches... that is what I used and of course along with the ABS technique.

In real life... the ABS/embossing/distress ink technique is very shiny.

Yesterday I was gonna do some crafting... but I heard some noises in my craft room and was too afraid to check what it was ( is sounded like little feet running along the heater vent. Yes! that was my guess too) So last night, after our costco run. I went to put some stuff in the freezer and my craft room floor and table was covered with dust. And no! I didn't dare find out who is crafting in my room.

This morning (totally forgotten about the other crafter) I went to look for shoes for Lexiss (stored under the stairs) and then realized about them little feet. I've never moved so fast in my life, that I grab the first shoes I can find (of course not her shoes!) As I was coming out from under the stairs storage.. something flew by my head. It's a damn bird!! the bird must of got in from the cold air intake for the furnace ( well.... that's all I can think of, but don't ask the hubby.. he's accusing me of leaving all the doors open and that's how it got in) Yup! me, who is always COLD will leave all the doors open.

Cal~Gals Challenge

Friday night was our Cal~Gals night at Shannon's house. It's always nice to see the Gals and this time we even got to see Miss Hailey! It was a good night for me because I was actually productive.

Here's my take on Shannon's challenge (Beate's WSC) I did the ABS technique, Cuttlebug embossing and Distress Ink again. But..... this time I had to show Tracy the technique (lol, I know, I'll use any excuse to do the ABS technique) I forgot to pack my embellishments and Dianne was kind enough to help me out.

I got home that night and thought.. I'll read the Twilight book that I borrowed from Shannon, to unwind. I put the book down at 3:45 am! It's not because I was ready to sleep... It's because my girls will be up in 2 hours! I finished the book in less than a day!! I guess I'll be asking Shannon for the next one ("lol"with the rate that I'm going, maybe all 3)

Long time no post

It's FRIDAY!!! Gotta love it when it's a short week. Mid November already and I'm not sure if I'm gonna do my Christmas shopping or not. We only do the kids and they are all teenagers now.... shopping for them is a bit difficult. I'm thinking of gift certificates or just plain CASH.

My girls went to a Birthday Party last weekend and here's the card I made for the birthday girl. I'm running out of colored images... think it's time to play with my copic markers again.
